<st1:place><a href="http://www.srisarigama.blogspot.com/"><st1:placename>Ramboda</st1:placename> <st1:placetype>Falls</st1:placetype></a></st1:place> comprise several <a href="http://www.srisarigama.blogspot.com/">waterfalls</a> fed by small brooks that flow into the Panna Oya. These falls are situated on the A5 road on the <st1:place><st1:placename>steepRamboda</st1:placename> <st1:placetype>Pass.</st1:placetype></st1:place> James Emerson Tennent writes in <st1:country-region><st1:place>Ceylon</st1:place></st1:country-region> (1859): "The road from Pussellawa winds through the valley skirting the bases of the hills, till it reaches an apparently insurmountable barrier of mountains in the glen of Ramboda.
